Campus platform for institute students
Attendify
Attendify began as a one-page attendance calculator in 2022. We rebuilt it from the ground up into a full platform for institute students: an attendance engine, a campus social network, and the production infrastructure to run both.

The brief
Answer the question every student asks each week, “can I miss this class?”, with precision and without making anyone type in a single number. Give each campus a safe place to talk. It had to work with whatever the college portal produces, protect students' identities, and stay fast on a phone between lectures.
What we built
Paste, don't type
Students copy the raw report from their college portal and paste it in. Attendify parses it into subjects, calculates every percentage and projects exactly how many classes are safe to miss, or must be attended, to stay above the requirement.
A campus network with guard rails
Posts, comments, votes, mentions and daily polls, with an anonymous mode that protects identity. Community rules, reporting, a moderation queue and bans keep the conversation healthy.
Notifications that bring students back
Standards-based web push alerts students to replies, mentions and new polls on phones and desktops, with no app store in the way.
Insights for the people running it
An admin dashboard tracks activity, engagement and open reports across campuses, so moderators know exactly where to look first.
Under the hood
- Independent microservices for auth, social, email and tools, each defined by a strict API contract
- Secure sessions with refresh tokens, and transactional email for account recovery
- A fast web app that installs on phones and feels native
- Every release is built once as an immutable image and promoted from dev to staging to production by an automated pipeline
Where it is now: Live at attendify.settlemate.in and under active development.
